Social Engineering: How Hackers Hack Your Brain (Not Your Computer) 🧠🚫

When we think of hackers, we imagine someone typing fast code in a dark room. 💻 But in reality, the easiest way to hack a system is to hack the human behind it. This is called Social Engineering.

🎭 What is Social Engineering?

It is the art of manipulating people into giving up confidential information. Hackers play on your emotions—fear, curiosity, or helpfulness—to trick you.

🚩 Common Types of Attacks

1. Pretexting (The Fake Scenario)

A hacker calls you pretending to be from "Bank Support" or "Instagram Policy Team". They claim there is an issue and ask for your OTP to "fix" it.
Remember: Real support teams never ask for passwords.

2. Baiting (The Free Gift) 🎁

You see a link saying "Download Free SMM Tool" or "Get 1000 Followers Free". You download it, but instead of followers, you get a virus that steals your login cookies.

3. Quid Pro Quo (Something for Something)

A hacker pretends to be IT support. "I can make your internet faster, just type this command." You type it, and you give them access to your PC.

🛡️ How to Protect Your Brain?

Stop and Think: If something feels too urgent or too good to be true, it probably is a scam. Always verify the source before clicking or speaking.
